Celebrating Juneteenth

At Get Out and About, our mission is rooted in access, equity, and expanding opportunities for young learners. As we continue to sponsor field trips, we take a moment to recognize Juneteenth! This day holds deep significance in American history and helps us remember the ongoing journey toward equality.

Observed each year on June 19th, Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. It reminds us that freedom and equally is so important.

For us, acknowledging Juneteenth isn’t about one day, it’s about remaining committed to educational equity every day.
